Google Calendar and Mac Calendar Sync!

I found this cool little app that syncs your google calendar and mac calendar on life hacker.

Mac OS X only: Spanning Sync provides a two-way sync between iCal and your Google Calendars.

Spanning Sync is currently in a free beta period, so if you decide to give it a try, you should definitely back up your calendars beforehand. That said, the bidirectional sync has been working well for me so far, so it looks promising. Spanning Sync is Mac OS X-only, and it’s a free download during the beta period. When Spanning Sync leaves beta, look for an as-of-yet undetermined price tag (bummer).

I just installed it and it works great. The only thing I do not like is that the red circle badge on the ical icon in the dock has ever increasing amount of future events even though I have not added any new events . It adds them as I relaunch ical or synchronize.

The synchronization however works pretty nice between Google cal and ical.

Hopefully they’ll fix the bug I just described above.
